I don’t know about all of you, but I’m still working hard on finding balance between my family, photography business and the blog. It seems to be especially hard during the summer months when everyone is out of school and my focus is on spending quality time with the kiddos. These moments with them will be gone before I know it and I just want to cherish each them at this age.
How do all of you out there do it? How do you find the balance? What is the right balance? How do you continue to share content with your readers but not sacrifice your summer with the kids?
Cheers,
Melissa

I think the key to balance is learning how to say No. I am just starting to figure that out right now. Someone recently asked if I would consider taking on some consulting work and it was very hard to say No. But my husband said, “Seriously, when is enough enough?” So I declined, but it took some persuasion from my husband to convince me to focus on what’s important.

That is so true! I’m learning the same thing. I want to say yes to everything and I need to consider my time and energy and what is most important.
