Darling Danglies

Ever since I made those three pairs of earrings a couple of weeks ago, I have had the jewelry making itch again. I went back last week to Baubles & Beads in San Rafael sans kids (which makes it a lot easier to peruse the bead store) and found four pairs that I wanted to make. I thought about buying some cool letter pendants to make a necklace with the kids initials on them, but I thought I should just wait until number three arrives. The last pair in the pale green are the same style as the pale pink ones I made a couple of weeks ago.  I liked them so much I thought I would make a different pair in a another color.

More pretties and I like how you have them dangling on the bowl for photos. Clever.
Also your fresh flowers are so beautiful.

Laughed about kids in a bead shop. Really, I can’t think of much worse…

Color me impressed!! I was actually just looking at classes last week for jewelry making. Did you take a class at some point, or just teach yourself? I’ve been known to dabble in DIY’s, but I’d love to learn some of the technical aspects of jewelry making.

    Thanks ladies!

Becca – I didn’t take a class, but I think I bought a book years ago. Lately there has been so many DIY posts on blogs, that has been my inspiration to start playing around with it again. You will have to let me know if you find a class and what you think of it!
