Happy Fourth Birthday Landon!

This last year has been a big year of change for you:

• You started preschool two days a week and after a month you finally started to enjoy it and make some good friends. 
• They provide lunches at preschool before you come home but for the last six months you have not eaten a single thing. I asked you what you do while everyone else eats and you said that you just sit there and watch them. I am sure they appreciate that. You have only started to eat “some” of the lunches in the last month. 
• For the most part you play nicely with your sister unless you are in a mood where you don’t want her to touch or even LOOK at you or your toys that you are playing with. 
• You are very excited about your new baby sister that is coming and keep telling us that June can’t come fast enough! We will see what you think after she is here! 
• You still love to read books and will often take a stack of 5-8 books with you to bed. 
• You are still quite the night owl (not sure at all where you get that 😉 ) and we have a hard time getting you to fall asleep before 9:30-10:00pm.
• You only take two naps a week (only after preschool days).
• You love all things construction related and you are building a huge small arsenal of construction vehicles. 
• You love to play with play dough and to paint.
• One of your favorite times of the day is when Daddy and you have battles with all of your guys before you go to bed. Daddy sets up the battle scene probably for 10-20 minutes and then you knock it down in 20 seconds. 
• You are starting to be a better eater, but it is still a struggle and has taken us four years to get to a point where we feel like you are finally consuming enough!
• You weigh 35 lbs and are 39 inches tall and still wear a size 3T. 
• In the last year you went to Maui, Florida and San Diego on vacation. As soon as we get back from vacation, you are asking when we are going again. I like your thinking buddy! Your Daddy has gone to Chicago on business a couple of times this year, so you are also obsessed with going to Chicago. 
• You don’t sing at preschool, but you take in all the songs and sing them at home. Still very shy in front of crowds. 
• You have a very vivid imagination and love to have all of your action figures & buddies talk to you. Your favorite time to talk to them is when you are in the bathroom. 
• You are able to get yourself dressed in the morning and at night.
• You are the sweetest, most thoughtful, imaginative, creative, sensitive and loving little boy! We love you with all of our hearts!
