TGIF! This has been a long week! It’s been about closing chapters and starting new ones. Tomorrow is my birthday and I’m trying to be positive and embrace change with grace. Then on Sunday we are headed to Maui for 9 days! I can’t be anymore ready for a tropical vacation with the family. I’m excited to be able to have Carlos to ourselves for 10 straight days. These are pictures that we took from our trip two years ago in Maui. We were not able to go last year since Charlotte was so little, so it’s been a long time coming.

Have a fabulous time. Totally jealous. My boys just landed back in the city and it feels weird for them not to be with me. We need a tropical vacation. This DC vacation has been amazing – but tropical and beach – OMG.
