39 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 39 Weeks
Size of baby: Baby girl weighs over seven pounds and is about 20 inches long
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 25lbs (don’t forget that I still had some Tatum baby weight hanging out with me as well)
Maternity Clothes: Currently living in maternity leggings or maternity skinny jeans, tank tops & t-shirts and boyfriend cardigans. Loving my maxi dresses since it feels like I am wearing a nightgown…so comfy!
Gender: IT’S A GIRL!! Either Charlotte, Madeline (Maddie) or Sophie.
Movement: Things are starting to get crowded in there and instead of kicking it feels more like pushing…to get OUT! Every time she pushes hard I have a Braxton Hicks contraction.
Sleep: Lots of pee breaks and not so comfortable sleeping in any position! When I get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, my back feels like it is seizing up!
What I miss: Being able to fit in my shoes (the swelling is setting in and flip flops or Tieks might be the only thing that will fit my feet this week), being able to wear my watch or rings (see prior swelling comment), not crying at every little sentimental thing that has happened in the last week and walking normal.
Cravings: Strawberry Smoothies, fruit, popsicles (just bought the Zoku popsicle maker and will have to blog about that after little miss arrives) and still have an ice cream cone a day habit!
Symptoms: Lots of Braxton Hicks, backache, having to pee every 10 5 minutes and a BIG WADDLE!
Best Moment this week: Huge accomplishment on the home front this last weekend as far as the NESTING organization project goes.  Trying to absorb every little moment I can with Landon and Tatum before things get crazy as we go from a family of four to a family of five. Realizing that little miss was arriving on Friday (so excited to meet her but still very scared for the surgery).

D-DAY is Friday at noon!
