Credo Beauty – San Francisco Store & Spa

Credo Beauty, your one stop shop for Natural Beauty, is opening it’s first store and spa today (June 3rd) in San Francisco, CA.   Credo Beauty has been an online website with a wonderfully curated and comprehensive collection of beautiful, safe and effective beauty products.  Along with the store, they will be opening the first Tata Harper Spa-in-Shop in the United States.  The new store will be in a 1400 square foot retail space at 2136 Fillmore Street in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Shashi Batra, one of the founders of Credo Beauty, is a San Francisco native and was part of the original executive team that started Sephora in the US.  “Our mission is to change the way people think about the beauty products they use,” Batra says.  “At Credo, we have brought together a collection of brands that not only make you look good, but they are good for you as well. We offer more than 70 brands that have been developed by a generation of passionate, creative, smart and informed entrepreneurs, many of who are destined to be household names.”

Credo’s approach is to provide an environment that, like the collection of brands they carry, has style and substance. Not only do the products have to pass a strict threshold of not having any of the ingredients on Credo’s black list but they must also be beautifully packaged, feel good and smell good. Batra says “each brand must have a raison d’etre that is sustainable, because this is not about being just fashionable or temporary”.

I’m thrilled for Credo Beauty to be opening in San Francisco.  To be able to have all these green and natural beauty items in one place where you can sample the products and test the colors is great. Right now I feel like I have to run around to a bunch of different stores to find all of these natural beauty lines.  A lot of them are all packaged up and not available to test.  This is really important when it comes to makeup products.  You all know I love my makeup and I need to be able to see how these green makeup items feel and look!

Next week I will be attending a launch party, so follow me on Instagram to see the inside of Credo‘s new retail/spa space!

What are some of you favorite natural green beauty lines?  Let me know in the comments below!

Cheers,

Melissa
